It’s almost here!

Well… after 6+ years of perfect summer weather, Mother Nature has finally caught up with us!

Due to recent heavy rain and flooding at Stillwater Stables, the 17th Annual Dinner in the Fields, originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug 15, has been postponed one week to Saturday, Aug 22, 2026.

The good news? Everything else stays the same!

Already purchased tickets? Your tickets will automatically be honored on August 22 — no action is needed. If you are unable to attend the new date and would like a refund, please contact us at ccli.oh@gmail.com. Because tickets have already been mailed, refunds will be processed following the August 22 event.

If the original date didn’t work for you, this is your second chance to join us for one of Clinton County’s favorite summer traditions. Please help us spread the word and invite your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to spend an evening with us at Stillwater Stables.

About:

• The 17th annual Dinner in the Fields will be held Saturday, August 22 @ Stillwater Stables (1465 North Webb Road, Wilmington). 

• Check-in will begin at 4:30 pm, dinner served at 5:30 pm, with a fundraiser dessert auction immediately following dinner.

• Handicap parking please arrive at 4:15 pm.

Tickets:

• Tickets are $30 and available for purchase at the Leadership Clinton office (2333 Rombach Avenue, Wilmington) any Peoples Bank locations, and here - online via our website.

• Child tickets are for those 12 and under and require the purchase of at least one adult ticket.

• Tickets are LIMITED so please purchase early.

Delivery:

• Tickets will be hand delivered to local residents and mailed to out-of-town guests.

• ALL ticket names will be included on a guest list at the registration table. If your physical tickets do not arrive in time, don't fret!

Menu:

• Appetizers: Assorted Cheeses and Curds, Summer Sausage, Fresh and Pickled Vegetables, Fresh Fruit, Vegetable Chips and Onion Dip, Garden Salad with Vinaigrette Dressing

• Entrees: Roasted Chicken, Pulled Pork

• Sides: Corn on the Cob, Kettle Beans, Applesauce, Corn Muffins, Baked Potato Salad

• Dessert: Blackberry Cobbler, Apple Cobbler, Ice Cream

• Beverages: Cash Bar, Tea, Lemonade, Assorted Milk Flavors

Dinner in the Fields is the Clinton County Leadership Institute’s annual fundraiser that supports its yearly programming. Please consider being a sponsor for this event. The not-for-profit Leadership Institute to date has inspired over a thousand adult and countless youth graduates to become civic and community leaders for Clinton County, making a difference that is impactful.
